Abraham A. Katz, DDS is a premier cosmetic and restorative dentist with over 30 years of experience artfully creating healthy, radiant smiles in a calm and soothing atmosphere. Changing lives with beautiful smile has been at the heart of Dr Katz’s philosophy in his Herndon Virginia office.

Dr. Katz takes great pride in being uniquely qualified to perform an array of cutting edge dental and cosmetic treatments while promoting proper oral health through his extensive training at the world �renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He has been recognized as one of “Americas Top Dentist” by the consumer’s research council of America and has written many articles in local publications on various aspects of the art and science of dentistry.

Dr. Katz is aware that listening patiently is key to the success of any treatment, whether he is treating a TMJ disorder from a neuromuscular approach, placing implants, fabricating naturally looking dentures, changing a smile through full mouth reconstruction or simply lightening teeth to a dazzling white.

Dr. Katz is also excited about be one of only 50 dentists in the country to offer the PPM mouth guard. The PPM mouth guard is a sports appliance that gives athletes the unique edge to maximize their power and balance for peak performance.

Dr. Katz is a Graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry. After earning his dental degree, Dr. Katz was stationed at Fort Knox Kentucky and was a captain in the army dental corp.. Upon completion of his military service Dr. Katz attended a two-year residency in general anesthesia at the Washington Hospital center in Washington, DC. Dr. Katz is also a Fellow of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced dental studies with advanced training in Neuromuscular Dentistry and the art of cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Katz recently completed training in Charleston S.C in oral sedation through the Association of dental Anesthesiologists. Dr. Katz is also a Fellow of the ICOI, International Congress of Oral Implantologists and has extensive training in dental Implantology under the guidance of Dr. Arum Garg, a leader in the field of oral maxillo-facial surgery and dental implantology.
