Meet the Dentist

Dr. Janes was born and raised in Hannibal, Missouri. After graduating from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1991, he returned to his hometown and began his current practice. In 1993 he purchased a second practice in Quincy, Illinois. He continues to treat patients at both locations.

Dr. Janes began training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) in 2004, and has since become a graduate/fellow of the program. He is one of approximately 600 dentists worldwide who have achieved LVI fellow status.

The fields of neuromuscular and cosmetic dentistry see constant advances in technology. Dr. Janes is dedicated to staying up-to-date on the latest technologies and treatments. He has taken classes from industry leaders such as Bill Dickerson, Bill Dorfman of Extreme Makeover, Ron Jackson, Jay Gerber, and many other leading dentists. As an active member of the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics (IACA), he is among the first to know about the latest in neuromuscular and cosmetic dentistry procedures.

Dr. Janes believes that everyone deserves to have the best smile available. By paying close attention to his patients’ comfort, appearances, and dental health, he makes sure all of his patients receive the results they are looking for.

Dr. Janes is married and has 4 children.
