The major objectives of the Fellowship Program of International College of Cranio Mandibular Orthopedics are to provide recognition of an individual for high level of achievement in the diagnosis and treatment of TMD and for professional efforts to advance the science of the biophysics and physiology of the head and neck.
Requirements: submission of 3 completed and well documented patients who have been treated; Passing a vigorous written examination; Completing 150 hours of continuing education in treatment of TMJ or TMD (on average dentists are required to take 25 hrs of continuing education a year on any subject) or have published articles on the subject in related journals and books, or teaching and lecturing over 150 hours on this subject.
