A Mentor is a Kois Center Graduate who displays a thorough & working knowledge of the Kois Center concepts & methods. There is an application process and exam for becoming a Mentor, and a set of criteria for maintaining Mentor membership. Mentors may choose to resign at any time and resume Graduate level status. However, if a Mentor steps into Graduate status, to reinstate the Mentor membership they will need to participate in the Mentor Exam.Criteria for becoming a Mentor: • Kois Center Graduate • Mentor Exam • Mentor Inauguration Ceremony will take place during the Annual Kois Center Symposium, these dentists show a high level of training and dedication to the field of dentistry and are highly trained.
After achieving the Fellowship, completion of 1100 hours of continuing education
These dentists have listed 20 completed implant cases of minimum 12 months old, fully documented 5 of these cases, 75 hours of continuing education in the field of Implant Dentistry, and a letter of recommendation from a current ICOI Fellow or Diplomate. These dentists have a great understanding of Implant dentistry and great training.
