Meet the Dentist

Cosmetic Dentist Arcadia, Dr. Peter Young has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Pacific Union College, Angwin, California. He earned his Doctoral degree in Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University with Honors in 1988. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, an Associate Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute, member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a graduate from the Kois Center </strong) for advanced dental training.

Since 1997, Dr. Young has been an active member in the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of Directors (since 1998). In 2002-03, he was elected President of the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Young also served as the Ethics Chairman for the San Gabriel Dental Society, and a member of the Board from 2004 to 2007.

Educating others is one of Dr. Young’s passions. He has been an Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry in the School of Dentistry in Loma Linda University since 1998.

Dr. Young feels that continue learning is vitally important to keep pace with the latest developments in dentistry. In fact, he attends an average of 150 to 200 hours of advanced seminars from the many world renowned dental experts. Since 1988 he has completed over 2200 hours of continuing education seminars. In that includes subjects such as implants , cosmetics, and laser dentistry. Dr. Young has a Certificate from the United State Dental Institute in Orthodontics. Dr. Young is also member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and Crown Council (an alliance of dentists that have a passion for continued self-improvement) and is a graduate and mentor of the Kois Center (one of the most prestige and highly regard training center for advance dentistry in the world).
