  A 3 day intense course on how to diagnose and determine bite or occlusal disease. the relationship of body and the bite, the muscles of the head and neck to the teeth. This is the introductory course into how to correctly find the proper bite and recognize complications before they arise.

  This six-day intense course features live-patient treatment where the dentist will bring their own patients to the institute. Recommended cases include 8-10 units of porcelain veneers/crowns or a combination of both for a smile design. These cases are completed under the guidance of a clinical instructor.This intense, hands-on, live-patient treatment program concentrates on developing a critical eye for aesthetic excellence. The dentist will not only benefit from personal instruction on their own case, but they will view and help diagnose over 300 restorative units from the other attendees.

  This course will eliminate the confusion about when to use cohesively retained vs adhesively retained restorations and develop predictable parameters for each. Step by step techniques will be described to prepare partial and full coverage preparations, anterior veneer preparations, and posterior bonded porcelain preparations. Tooth preparation surface management, will be discussed to eliminate post-operative sensitivity and create appropriate luting agent selection and bonding protocols.   This participation course will describe treatment for the soft tissue dilemmas that the general dentist faces on a daily basis. These include gum recession, exposed crown margins where the black line at the gumline appear, biologic width impingements (redness around the gums of crowns), uneven gingival margins (gumlines appearing in different levels giving the teeth an unesthetic look), and the gummy smile. Step by step procedures for treatment of these conditions will be described in detail. This course will emphasize the skills necessary to do gum grafting and esthetic crown lengthening to get rid of gummy smiles.

There is an application process and exam for becoming a Mentor, and a set of criteria for maintaining Mentor membership. Mentors may choose to resign at any time and resume Graduate level status.
