Dr. S. David Buck, DDS, LVIM

Dr. Buck was one of the first dentists in the country to completely stop the use of amalgam (mercury) fillings in 1990. He also pioneered development and installation of the first mercury separation system in North America, and went on to help found a company that produces the leading separation systems in the world. This unique environmental system prevents amalgam filling particles from entering the waste water stream and contaminating the environment with mercury. He has also received a coveted 5 star envirostar rating for excellence in environmentally sound business practices.

Dr. Buck has mastered the use of non-toxic tooth colored filling materials and he teaches other dentists the art and science of using these materials at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). He also has the title of Regional Director at the Institute. He has a regional reputation as an expert in biocompatible dentistry, and enjoys lecturing and teaching dentists from around the country in these important topics.
